The Evie Dove Foundation Big Coastal Walk & Little Canal Walk 2026

On Saturday 5th September 2026 we would love you to join us for the fourth annual Evie Dove Foundation Walk, starting and finishing at Unit 1 Riverside in Hythe.

Once again we will be offering both the Big Coastal Walk (16 miles), or the Little Canal Walk (3 miles), and creating that incredible sea of pink t-shirts along the Royal Military Canal and Hythe and Folkestone seafront.

The event is becoming hugely popular with almost 300 people signing up last year, so please book early! This really is a fabulous day that creates such a feel good factor.

For the Big Coastal Walk it is a £10 sign up fee which includes a t-shirt, refreshment stops, and medal. However if you already have a t-shirt we will be really grateful if you can re-use it (meaning we can maximise the funds that go to heroes).

For the Little Canal Walk it is a £5 sign up fee, this includes a goodie pack for any children walking, and a medal. You will also be able to purchase a t-shirt for the exclusive price of £5.

If you can’t make it to Kent and would like to create your own walk we will provide you with all the support you need. Last year we had walks in Portsmouth, Warwick, Oxford, Cyprus and Orlando and we love that The Evie Dove Foundation is going global!

Thanks to sponsorship from local businesses and Trusts, including headline sponsor Unit 1, SAGA, The Pilot, Hawkinge Lidl, and The Roger De Haan Charitable Trust, alongside our volunteers, the event is cost-neutral. This means every penny raised goes directly to funding specialist training for paediatric healthcare professionals. The walk has now raised more than £70,000 in its first three years.
