MAN BABY + live Q&A – Folkestone Film Festival

Folkestone Film Festival presents a special screening of MAN BABY, a brilliantly strange new British horror-comedy, followed by an in-person Q&A with the people who made it.

Meet the local filmmakers behind the film at the Folkestone Silver Screen Cinema on Friday, September 18th 2026. 7.30pm.

Starring Divian Ladwa (Ant Man and the Wasp, Detectorists, Black Ops), MAN BABY follows an immature artist forced to confront impending fatherhood in increasingly bizarre circumstances. Writer/director Philip Hardy, Kent-based producer Syd Heather and star actor Divian Ladwa will all be at the Silver Screen for a live Q&A after the film, hosted by Folkestone Film Festival director Ben Barton. Plus, the filmmakers are bringing some of MAN BABY’s rather risqué props along for the night… Over 18s only.

Part of Folkestone Film Festival’s autumn showcase, which continues in September with locally-filmed mystery MISPER and at Halloween with PASSENGER from Paramount Pictures. All the films have local links to Folkestone or Kent.
