Folkestone Bookshop Crawl

Need a hand ticking off some bookshops on the Kent Bookshop Map (or making a start)? We will be celebrating our final bookshop crawl of the year in the beautiful seaside town of Folkestone for the first time on Saturday 14th November, to co-incide with Folkestone Book Festival.

Come along and meet other book lovers, or re-connect with old friends as we wander the town, exploring bookshops, swapping book recommendations and enjoying a low pressure, socially antisocial bookish meetup by the sea!

The bookshop crawl will run from 1pm – 3.30pm, ending up at Folkestone Harbour, where bookshop crawlers can enjoy all sorts of lovely small business run shops and snacks. Please note that Folkestone is hilly and while the bookshop crawl route will be downhill, you will need to be prepared to walk back up the hill when we are done.

Children under 16 are free with a paying adult. Bookshop Crawl UK is a community interest company creating events to bring the book loving community together, to celebrate and support bookshops and share the joy of stories in a low pressure, socially antisocial way. Ticket costs and other donations to towards supporting our running costs and the creation of our events, and is gratefully appreciated.
